Pipette compatibility
Made for Rainin LTS (LiteTouch System) pipettes, which use a cylindrical tip shank rather than the tapered cone of universal fit pipettes. Universal fit tips are not a substitute on LTS instruments, and these tips do not fit universal cone pipettes. Request a sample and confirm on your own pipettes, including any multichannels, before a case order.

Calibration after switching tips
A pipette is calibrated as a system: instrument, tip and technique together. ISO 8655-2:2022 sets maximum permissible errors for pipettes complete with their tips, and ISO 8655-6:2022 scopes the gravimetric reference procedure to the whole assembly including the disposable tip, so a tip change can shift delivered volume. If your work runs to a defined tolerance, verify gravimetrically after switching, ten replicates at the low end and ten at the high end of the range, the same way you would after a service.
Multichannel use
Multichannel fit is a separate question from single-channel fit: the tips must seat evenly across every channel at once, and ISO 8655-2:2022 carries multichannel-specific tip tolerances with no single-channel equivalent. Load a full row on your multichannel, look down the line for uneven seating, and run a dye or water check across a plate before committing to a case.
